Viewer Decor

As you can imagine, I get lots of teenagers sending me pictures of their pets. Perhaps what you can't imagine is how terrible they usually are. On any given day, my inbox is crammed full of very large, very blurry kitty pics that always come with the same poorly spelled note... Dear Cris: Pleese draw laserz in there eyes.

Francy is a viewer in Trieste ITALY who sent in this picture of her cat "Cispy", and I have to say, it's actually pretty good. I like Cispy's disco pose, but the real appeal of this picture is Francy's bedroom decor.

Fans of my show tend to share certain common denominators in their decorating style.  There's always pictures of baby animals on the wall, a bit of Japanese anime, and some sort of cat shrine-- in this case, the kitten collection on her windowsill. You might get distracted by the Che Guevara poster, but if you look above it you'll see my very favorite part of Francy's bedroom decor-- a pencil sketch of a prancing horse. If you click on the pic you can make out Italian calligraphy written over top. I have no idea what it says, but I hope to God it's her original poetry.

So thanks for the photo, Francy. The cat is cute, but so is this glimpse into the exciting world of a modern Italian young lady. You're the type of Cute with Chris viewer I always dreamed of.
