Last spring, I was in Vancouver on business. I walked into a cafe and ran into Chun (above) who is a Cute with Chris fan I'd met online but had not met in person. She happened to be sitting at the table next to me with a very INTERESTING group of people.
Are we sure these creepy Blythe dolls aren't in league with the deadly panda army?
I think Pervy should narrate over the advert you posted from youtube :D

I didn't know there was a correlation between Blythe enthusiasts and CWC. I like both, so this makes total sense!

Chris, I'll be landing in LA at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Maybe we'll bump into each other while I'm over there... I don't have any strange collection, but I'm still kinda weird (in a cute way, of course!)

You can be weird in a cute way?
...I'll go with that :D

The dolls are ok looking until you watch the commercial and see their wide eyes in action. I couldn't sleep with one of those in my room. The song is hilarious though. The singer sounds a little Tom Jonesy. "Pull her ring see her do her thing....blythe blythe...changeable blythe..."

Those are like the Bratz of the '70s.

Oh. My. Lord. *nightmares* Your expression says it all, Chris. But I suppose Blythes are better than those Whores -- er -- BRATZ dolls they have nowadays.

A Japanese saying: 'There's a fine line between cute and crazy.' I this case there is a lot of truth there.

That theme song was extra groovy.

Damn, Chris is a smokin' hottie!

Holy coincidence.
After a 17-hour drive from Edmonton, I pulled into Vancouver and walked into a random cafe to rest my eyes and celebrate my arrival.
IT WAS THAT VERY CAFE! I remember the melon painting on the brick wall.
Weird.

Well if my eyes are not being deceived, and that is REALLY a Canon camera...
She's okay in my book!
The dolls still freak me out.
Not as bad as the "My Twinn" ones, though.

"...the odd combination of creepy and cute. You know, just like Pervy the Perverted Horse!" That's exactly right!
