This Formal Pet Portrait was found online by Kim in CANADA. I don't normally like to post anonymous pictures, but I'm sure you will be as moved as I was by the spiral-perm passion found in every grain of this extraordinary photograph. Let us salute the unwavering talent of Sears Portrait Photographers all over America. Will we ever know the identity of this man and his beloved teacup companion?

Aw, not nice. He loves his dog, and that makes him okay with me. It makes me sad to make fun of him.

I agree with Mara. S'okay when folks submit their own (goofy) formal pet portraits for our ridicule, but not this.

you people are way too sensitive! that is the most awesome pet portrait I have ever seen! I don't know if it should be considered "Formal" however, a mullet does stand for "business in the front, party in that back!" Ain't nuttin formal 'bout that!

Chris did say that he prefers not to post pictures found on the web, however we all agree that this mans love for his poodle, and bravery to sport such a curly exhibition is a beautiful thing.

Something about this says trucker to me. Lots of truckers have dogs with them in their rigs. What's your 20 poodle mullet man?
Posted by: Towelie | February 10, 2008 at 04:35 AM
I like this guy and his dog and I enjoyed the photograph, whoever he is. It's funny in a happy, non-ridiculing kind of way. Shows a nice little corner of human nature.

I think I'm in love.
Okay maybe not.
But it's still awesome.

SO CUTE!!! I'm usually not a big poodle fan, but this is possibly the cutest poodle I've ever seen.
Large, tough-looking trucker man + Tiny puppydog = Absolutely adorable.

How could you NOT love a big mullet wearing teddy-bear of a man who obviously adores ankle biters???
...probably lives with mama and the twenty-some-odd other ankle biters....in the basement...eating CheezIts.
Posted by: Cin | February 10, 2008 at 12:19 PM
I know I am going to be made fun of for saying this, but its actually kind of cute! I like to imagine he is a big gay man.
Posted by: Manda | February 10, 2008 at 12:54 PM
-cin- i don't think its Cheezits, I think its porkrinds. ^.^ Mullet-man and poodle-pooch rock my socks in all their curly glory.
