Mei Mei is beautiful, even if she needs to lose a few lbs.
The 'issue' can be easily remedied by switching her to a high protein-content food and restricting her portions. My cat was quite a chunk, and I put him on Wellness (Weight Management formula), 1/2 cup/day, and he lost weight quite easily and regained a lot of energy!
But, even if a cat is carrying a couple of extra pounds, that cat is A-OK if it is in a loving and secure home. So many wonderful cats are going to be killed this very day and are alone in 'animal control' cages, not knowing what awaits...

Have the nuffers from Cute Overload made their way over here? It just makes me wonder: all these people who cry abuse when pics of fat animals get posted? How much do THEY weigh? Weight control ain't so cut and dried as people like to think. (speaking from experience, here)
