Muffin's cute, but clearly has no regard for automobile safety.
Cute? Yes.
Good role model? No.

Dashboard cat is watching you speed!
Posted by: Anh | February 19, 2008 at 10:16 AM
Laying on the dashboard would help explain why New York has such bad drivers. It's hard to do anything from there.

its obvious from the charger laying next to its ear, that this is a robot cat in need of charging. Robots are not required by law to wear seatbelts.

New Yorkers are horrible drivers.

It's a "Fuzz" buster! :D (Please tell me that more people than just my sorry Southern self know what that means...) Otherwise, the humor will be totally lost.

I know what a Fuzz buster is and I'm from the North. :) Cute kitty but this definitely makes me nervous...

That is one quick break away from a painful situation. Most likely involving claws and the drivers face.
And should you be taking pictures of cute kittens while driving? This is just a "what not to do while driving" example all around.

Hmmm...earlier this year my boyfriend and I loaded all 3 of our cats into the car and drove across the country - approx 2500 km. Based on their behavior throughout the trip IN their carriers, I can only imagine how Muffin's mommy or daddy was able to get Muffin to a point of such extreme relaxation in a car OUT of a carrier. I also notice that Muffin's mouth seems to be closed, which is contrary to my findings of "meowmoewmoewmoewmeowmeowmeowrrreeeoowwwmeow" for 2500 km. Very curious.

I don't think it's photoshopped, see reflections off inside of windshield, but I will say that is one stupid cat owner.

Awwwww!
Cuuuuutttteeee!
Until dad slams on the brakes.

It would appear that the front seat passenger took this picture, not the driver.
Even so, this is facial reconstructive surgery waiting to happen.

Cute. The cat is purrfectly safe, they are driving on the thruway, its a straight shot. Also, New Yorkies are great drivers. Have you ever been to Florida, Rhode Island or California? I mean you get south of PA and everyone forgets the left lane is for passing. Not to mention that outside of the north east and the northern states people can't even drive in the rain. Don't EVEN get me started on Canada. You ride that dash to nowhere central NY Muffin, you ride it.

cute, but the driver isn't very safe for having the cat loose in the car.

Muffin is already wedged into the front window -- she's relatively safe in a front-end. But since cats like to wander, when she's not wedged-in shes a flying-object. That would make everyone else Toast.

Q:"thoughts?"
A: none
Posted by: poop | February 19, 2008 at 12:29 PM
Well it would depend on what "life" it's on. If it's on life 8, then sorry about it's luck. If it's on life 1 then - live hard and good luck on the next road trip!

I use to have a "fuzz" buster - but not one that could potentially lay a "nasty" on my dash. But very cute "southerner" I do indeed get it! ;)
