I beg to differ Leslie. I had a hedgehog for several years as a child and it was an awesome pet. It recognized me and only me and got all pokey for everyone else :) Makes me miss him. His name was Hoover, like the vacuum cleaner brand because of the noise he would make when he got upset with something.

It kind of seems like hedgehogs should be running free in the woods. I'm pretty sure it's illegal in Britain to keep them unless you find them injured and you're nursing them back to health before releasing them again.

awwww, what a cute little hedgehog and I really wish everyone would stop flipping out about it being someone's pet. Seriously, there have been domesticated hedgehogs and if you feel they should be free, well, why not let your cats, dogs, birds, snakes, turtles, lizards, ferrets, etc. out to run free as I suppose most would be "happier" out free to... or at least, that's the logic I'm getting from many of you *shrugs* Anyways, I'd never seen an albino hedgehog before, really cool. :)
