Michelle in OTTAWA sends this picture of a new Guinea Pig at the shelter where she works. She writes; "This is Loki, all ready to find a home for the holidays." Loki hopes everyone enjoys their Xmas with family and friends while he sleeps alone in a cold bed of cedar chips with no one to love him.

I really hope he isn't on a bed of cedar chips...that's really bad for these little guys!!!

My guinea pig (also a rescue) would just beat him up P:
He looks like my old guinea pig, except for the fur texture.
And don't use any kind of wood chips for them!
We used to use wood chip things, but the vet said wood dust can get into their lungs and it's bad for them 8c

Never fear, no cedar chips for Loki (or any of his little friends): he rests in a bed of paper products. :)
