Broomstick/Lawn Mower

Greta_Canada_Tracy
Tracy from CANADA writes: "...this is Greta the big brown bat, which my boyfriend does M.Sc. research on. Now, most people think bats are gross, and actually some lady that approached my bf while in the field, told him about how she found a bat once, beat it with a broom, then ran it over with a lawn mower...just to make sure it was dead. Or another friend which told me they killed one with a shoe.
Anyways, I wanted to bring attention to the fact that bats aren't gross but cute. And a few bats, in a summer, eat the equivalent in weight of mosquitoes of 11 elephants. So, clearly, they are very good at getting rid of the stupid mosquitoes, I'm sure in a cute . Plus, they are the only mammals that can fly, echolocate, and pollinate alot of the fruit we eat. So bats are cool."

" I don't think Chris has an elephant on his site" Do you?  Post my picture so you can have an elephant!  I'm not going to threaten you, just strongly suggest you put my picture of me, in your shirt, with a elephant, while I was in Thailand. *sarah in Singapore."

Like the amazing older sister she is, she dragged me to the Sex Museum where there was an exhibit entitled "The Sex Lives of Animals". So I thought to myself: I finally have some material to send in to CWC! Attached are some photos of the animal aaaaht that I saw. Despite the disturbing nature I recommend visiting this fine establishment. Sofya (pronounced the same as Sophia) 19, MA." MORE HERE.

Lill from COSTA RICA writes: "...Hi Chris: As a biology and zoology student most of the work I do involves going out into nature and catching animals and generally ruining their day by manhandling them and spending lots of time talking about them like there not there. In Panama there is a very cute species of frog called Dendrobates pumilio. It comes in all sorts of cute colors. I have attached a photo of my friend Aaron using the frogs as bling."
