Teen Projects.

Sydney from ONTARIO writes: "...Dear Chris, I know you're swamped with mail so I'll keep it quick. This is my lovely new rocking horse, Henry. I found him around the corner from my friends house in an alley way, put out with the trash. He was dirty and matted but the potential was there. I scrubbed him down with laundry detergent and attacked him with the hose for 2 hours before letting him dry while I bleached his rockers. Finally I mauled him with Febreeze to make him smell nice. A lot of work, but well worth it. Now he's a pretty horse who's ready to love. Please post my pictures to prove to Henry that he isn't a piece of poop like his former owners made him believe. Your faithful cult member, Sydney, Toronto."

Can I confess something to you? I dig libraries. The concept of people being able to use computers and rent books, for free, to my mind, seems like the greatest thing about living in civilized society.  I've discovered many LIBRARIANS are fans of this blog. I don't know any librarians in my personal life but they always seem to show up at my shows. AJ in CALIFORNIA writes: "...Hey Chris! Long time viewer, first time submitter. I work at a private university library in California where there is an art gallery in the main lobby. One cloudy morning, when we were opening up as usual, we saw the following sculpture had mysteriously appeared over night. It took us a while to track down who the artist was, and why they had dumped it here without telling anyone. We discovered that it was a student's form of protest over the decimation of the population of wild mustangs in the U.S. Okay...I guess someone has to look out for them...even though they weren't native to the U.S. to begin with. Since there was another exhibit already going on, we politely moved it to a corner of the library where it is prominently displayed behind a bookshelf. But we were nice enough to put the information of the artist with it. The staff of the library have lovingly named this piece "Stumpy." Enjoy!  -AJ."
