Mama Hates You.

Andrea writes: "...Hey Chris. Its official, I'm a crazy cat lady. I had 2 perfectly good cats, but when I heard about Billie I took her in immediately. Billie's mom didn't want to nurse her litter of three so a lady in my building decided to hand raise them. She was feeding them human baby pablum and as a result Billie looked like a concentration camp victim. She was all bones and big belly. She's also a week behind developmentally. She's 4 weeks old, but is the size of a 3 week old kitten. She also had a bladder infection because she was kept so dirty, there wasn't clean part of her she was all crusty. Eww.  Billie is now 5 weeks old (Still looks like a 4 week old though) but has put on weight and is a feisty little booger, and gladly hasn't suffered any brain damage or blindness from lack of nutrition. It's been a couple weeks so I wanted to send you the latest pictures of the kitten we found in our garage. All is well with the kitten and we now have a name for him; DR CLAW!"

Sulfur

Elizabeth in NORTH CAROLINA writes: "...Chris, My boyfriend and I found this kitten, in a rainstorm, under the porch of a friend’s house.  There was no mama cat & no rest of the litter.  Later that day my friend did find a very big snake living under the same house.  We don’t know exactly what happened to mama and the rest of the litter, but we can guess.  So, we took this little one (3.5 to 4 weeks old) to the vet & guess what!  She has ringworm.  Like mad.  On her tail, on her tummy, & on her back.  So the vet gave us this stinky Lime Sulfur bath & said we have to keep her segregated from my 2 other cats, Parfait & Waffles, until we get a negative culture.  Until then she gets this bath/dip twice a week.  It makes her look & smell like a rotten Easter Egg. I would also like to get some advice from the cult.  We need a name for this girl.  & not any common black/white cat name like Patches or Oreo.  Something fitting this little girl.  We are currently mulling over Dim Sum, Piper, & Rikki-Tikki.  Help! Elizabeth."
